the best 17-18 century game i ever played ,the way you conquer on the map is well made the variety of nations with pro & cons and a several units to choose from ,the way resources makes it very realistic i really hope to see a remaster or a new version from this game
Pros: Game is way ahead of its time. Great controls. the units moral & experience is built from battles . very realistic battle mechanics. You are mobilizing your army not building a new one every battle . Global Map system is well made. Great maps with main & side quests.
Cons: Needs more variety of units (ex: the Egyptian army evolved 1802 after the Napoleonic 3 years invasion ,under the leadership of Muhamed Aly bey a lot of locals were enlisted & trained to be a modern & professional army superior to the ottoman forces and were tested in both the Greek revolution & the ottoman-Egyptian war but the game included only Janissary ) They should include weaponry & equipment research-upgrade options in the game menu they need to add more state administration options. they should include individual unit training in both ranged & cold steel fighting & defense like in Cossack's 1&3. when merging nations it should open both nations troops options .
